To use the MILWEB On-Line Shop you need to ensure that your browser can accept MILWEB cookies
and that JavaScript is enabled.
Below are instructions for enabling MILWEB cookies on several popular browsers. The suggested changes will not in any
way change your security or privacy protection for any other non-MILWEB site.
There are also instruction for enabling JavaScript with your browser. These suggested change will enable JavaScript
for all sites that you visit on the internet (alternatively, most browsers have advanced setting that all you to add a site
to a Trusted Zone — see your browser's Help Files for more information).
If you have a different browser the steps
to follow will be very similar. For more information go to your browser's Help menu.
If after following these instructions you find that our check-out system still does not work for you,
then you need to check that your firewall settings will allow cookies and JavaScript.
Enabling the MILWEB Cookie in Internet Explorer 6
- Select Tools from the menu bar.
- Select Internet Options... from the drop down menu.

- Select the Privacy tab on the dialog box.
- Click on the Sites... button.
- Enter the following text into the Address of Web Site text box:
milweb.net .
- Click on the Allow button.
- Check in the Managed Web sites list box that milweb.net is listed as
Allways Allow.

- Click the OK button.
- Click the OK button of the Internet Options dialog.
- It may be necessary to open and close your browser window for the new setting to take effect.
Enabling the MILWEB Cookie in Firefox 2
- Select Tools from the menu bar.
- Select Options... from the drop down menu.
- Click on the Privacy icon on the Options dialog box button bar.

- Click on the Exceptions... button.
- Enter the following text into the Address of web site text box:
milweb.net .

- Click on the Allow button.
- Check in the list box that the site milweb.net is listed as
Allow.

- Click the Close button.
- Click the OK button of the Options dialog.
- It may be necessary to open and close your browser window for the new setting to take effect.
Below are instructions for enabling Javascript on several popular browsers:
Enabling JavaScript for Internet Explorer 6
- Select Tools from the menu bar.
- Select Internet Options... from the drop down
menu.
- Select the Security tab on the dialog box.

- Select the Internet globe icon.
- Click on the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down to Scripting in the Security Settings Dialog Box.

- Ensure that the setting for Active Scripting is Enable (it is possible to
use the MILWEB with this option set to Prompt but you will be asked repeatedly whether you want scripts run).
- Click the OK button.
- Click the OK button in the Internet Options dialog box.
- It may be necessary to open and close your browser window for the new setting to take effect.
Enabling JavaScript for Firefox 2
- Select Tools from the menu bar.
- Select Options... from the drop down menu.
- Click on the Content icon on the Optionsdialog box button bar.

- Ensure that the Enable JavaScript check box is checked — it should have a tick in it.
- Click the Close button.
- Click the OK button of the Options dialog.
- It may be necessary to open and close your browser window for the new setting to take effect.
